Don't know how much to charge?
Our advise is for you to set an hourly rate you are happy with. If you are still not sure what to start with, we suggest going to the Australian Government Fair Work page which shows the minimum award wage for casual work . On the page, click on Pay Calculator, select "I'm an employee looking for pay rates", press "Next" and follow the prompts. Awards are categories of jobs. If you can't find the Award for your casual job, use the "Miscellaneous Award". Dog Walkers and Babysitters/Nannies fall into the Miscellaneous Award.
